| This seminar is designed to acquaint the student with AC drive systems including
theory of operation, drive setup, programming, and proper drive start-up procedures. The seminar begins with an overview of AC and DC electrical theory and relates the theory to AC drive and motor operation. AC drive circuitry is explained with discussion on the function and purpose of each major circuit and electrical component. Voltage and frequency relationships and effects on motor operation are introduced. Application considerations and common pitfalls are discussed. |
